The Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacist team at London Pharmacy Education & Training provides a training programme for all pre-registration trainee pharmacists working in the NHS across NHS London and NHS Midlands and East (East of England - Bedfordshire, Essex and Hertfordshire) which complements in-house training provided at each NHS trust.
The LPE&T pre-registration trainee pharmacist training programme is accredited by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS). RPS accreditation involves peer review by specialists with the relevant educational expertise and experience. As our study days and accredited courses have met the RPS's high standards for quality, they promote best practice and provide effective resources to enable our service-users to develop their practice and improve patient care. Registration as a pharmacist with the GPhC is outside the scope of RPS accreditation.
The LPE&T pre-registration trainee pharmacist training programme was accredited by the RPS in October 2011 for a period of 3 years.
